Vistara Air company names Georgia among 7 Best And Exciting Family-Friendly Destinations Around Globe

Vistara, an Indian airline, has highlighted Georgia as one of the “7 Best and Exciting Family-Friendly Destinations Around the World” in its onboard magazine.

The article describes Georgia’s capital city, Tbilisi, as a place known for its cathedrals, cobblestone streets, and quaint cafés. It suggests that families, especially those with children, enjoy leisurely walking tours starting from the Anchiskhati Basilica, passing through Gudiashvili Square, and ending at the Bridge of Love.

For a fun experience, visitors can take a ride on the funicular up Mount Mtatsminda or enjoy stunning city views from a hot-air balloon at Rike Park. Active families can explore the Leghvtakhevi waterfall and nearby sulfur baths, all located in the heart of the city. To wrap up the adventure, the article recommends savoring traditional Georgian dishes like khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), gobi (a variety of classic meals), and local wines, making for a memorable holiday.

The National Tourism Administration of Georgia organized a press tour for the magazine team to showcase the country’s tourism offerings.

In addition to Tbilisi, the magazine also lists Los Angeles, USA; Paro, Bhutan; Okavango Delta, Botswana; Munich, Germany; Jaisalmer, India; and Singapore as top family-friendly destinations.

Vistara Airlines is planning a merger with India’s largest carrier, IndiGo, which offers regular flights between Delhi and Tbilisi.
