Entering the tournament as clear favorites, the Lelos scored 16 tries, achieving a historic triumph with the largest winning margin in the team’s history.
The Georgian squad will face the Netherlands in their next match on February 8 at Avchala Rugby Stadium in Tbilisi. The Rugby Europe Championship also serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Rugby World Cup, with the top two teams from each pool earning a spot in the tournament.
