Price of newly built apartments in Batumi increased by 11% in December

In December 2024, the weighted average price of newly built flats in Batumi rose by 11%, reaching USD 1,114 per square meter, while the price of old flats saw a modest increase of 0.2%, amounting to USD 985 per square meter, according to a report published by Recov.ge.

Over the course of 2024, the total number of residential flat transactions in Batumi reached 15,034 units, reflecting a 2% year-over-year (YoY) decrease. However, the market size grew by 6%, totaling USD 778 million.

The weighted average price of newly built flats in Batumi increased by 7% in 2024 compared to 2023, while old flats experienced a 4% price growth.

As of December 2024, residential flat transactions in Batumi rose by 19%, totaling 1,426 units. The market size also expanded by 28%, reaching USD 76 million.

In December 2024, transactions for newly built flats in Batumi increased by 23% YoY, whereas transactions for old flats declined by 16% YoY.
