Tbilisi will mark International Children’s Day, observed on June 1, with a range of activities. The central event is scheduled to take place at Dedaena Garden, announced Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze at the municipal government meeting.
“June 1 is approaching—International Children’s Day, which we traditionally celebrate with great love. Many children are looking forward to this day,” he said.
According to Kaladze, entertainment and sports activities are planned for June 1 at Dedaena Garden, beginning at 3 p.m. The program will include chess competitions, art workshops, puppet theatre performances, and a children’s concert.
“I invite everyone to join us with your children and grandchildren. A very engaging and entertaining program awaits you,” Kaladze said, adding that attendance at the events is free of charge.
