The First “Outlet Village” In The Region Will Open On May 29

The first “Outlet Village” in the South Caucasus region is set to open on May 29, with “Tbilisi Outlet Village” aiming to redefine retail standards. In its initial phase, the village will feature 70 renowned brands and 8 dining establishments, positioned just a 30-minute drive from Tbilisi. The founders envision creating a dynamic regional attraction that draws in visitors from near and far.

“We’re setting up a lounge area and introducing Personal Shoppers to enhance the customer experience, giving visitors the freedom to explore shopping in a whole new way. We’ve partnered with ‘Bene’ to provide shuttle services from key locations, such as Freedom Square, to make transportation seamless,” said Natia Chitaia, Director of Tbilisi Outlet Village.

The team is committed to fostering shopping tourism, leveraging the village’s strategic location to attract visitors from neighboring countries like Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkey. Their ambitious vision is to position Tbilisi as a regional retail hub and place it firmly on the global fashion map.

“The development of Tbilisi Outlet Village involves introducing innovative concepts and exclusive offers to the local market. To bring this large-scale project to life, we’ve partnered with TBC Bank, which has already invested over 40 million GEL. We’re fully committed to supporting the project’s success,” stated Lasha Tsintsadze, Vice President of TBC’s Residential Real Estate Development Sector.

With an outlet concept backed by leading global brands, Tbilisi Outlet Village is poised to become a vibrant retail destination. The project organizers and partners are confident that this space will unlock new opportunities for consumers and businesses, driving growth in Georgia’s retail landscape.
