The Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Thomas Cook, India’s largest travel agency, in Mumbai to launch a comprehensive marketing campaign aimed at increasing awareness of Georgia in India, the GNTA announced on Saturday.
Maia Omiadze, Head of the National Tourism Administration, emphasized their active efforts in the Indian market to attract more tourists to Georgia. Vakhtang Jaoshvili, the Georgian ambassador to India, who was also present at the signing ceremony, underscored the significance of the memorandum, noting that over 100,000 Indian tourists had visited Georgia last year.
