In 6 months, tourism revenues increased by a record-breaking $2 billion

In January–June 2025, revenues from international travel increased by 3.8% year-over-year, reaching a record-high volume of almost USD 2 billion (USD 1,971.0 million).

Tourism revenues for the first two quarters of 2025 exceeded the level of the same period in 2019 by 35.4%.

In the second quarter of 2025 alone, income from international travel grew by 5.0% compared to the previous year, reaching another record-high of USD 1,145.0 million.

Significant growth in tourism revenues was recorded in January–June 2025 from the following source markets:

• Israel: up by USD 66.4 million (+37.9%), reaching USD 241.9 million

• EU and United Kingdom: up by USD 30.7 million (+12.5%), totaling USD 277.0 million

• Azerbaijan: up by USD 24.1 million (+30.7%), reaching USD 102.6 million

• Saudi Arabia: up by USD 6.2 million (+18.9%), totaling USD 38.8 million

• Armenia: up by USD 1.8 million (+2.8%), reaching USD 66.0 million
