“Compared to the same month last year, the construction cost index increased by 4.3 per cent. This rise was largely attributable to a 16.2 per cent increase in the average monthly nominal wage of construction workers, alongside a 5.2 per cent increase in other expense categories, which contributed 4.03 and 0.32 percentage points, respectively. Furthermore, the construction cost index has grown by 25.2 per cent since February 2022,” the report published by GeoStat states.
