Georgia’s Ski Resorts Featured on Euronews: A Modern Winter Destination with Legendary Hospitality

On Wednesday, the Georgian National Tourism Administration announced that Euronews, a network available in 160 countries and 17 languages, with a viewership exceeding 400 million, had featured the nation’s mountain ski resorts in an article published the previous day.

The article, written by Craig Sauers, encourages travelers to visit Georgia’s winter destinations, showcasing the country’s “modern resorts and legendary hospitality.”

It also shared the experience of skier Taylor Beckwith-Ferguson in the Gudauri mountain resort, noting that Georgia’s ski resorts offer “comparable quality to the Alps, but at a lower cost,” with “excellent infrastructure and snow conditions.”

Additionally, the article highlighted other popular Georgian ski resorts, including Bakuriani, Goderdzi, Hatsvali, and Tetnuldi, known for skiing, sports, and recreation.

The author emphasized that Georgia, with its towering mountains and affordable prices, is a competitive alternative to Europe’s top ski resorts. He also pointed out the government’s ongoing investment in improving ski resort infrastructure.

Sauers concluded by mentioning Georgia’s rich cultural history, referencing its capital, Tbilisi, and its 8,000-year tradition of winemaking.
