In Arkan property, we’re celebrating the International Day of Down Syndrome along with the rest of the world. This day, on March 21st, aims to support people with Down syndrome in all parts of their lives.
The theme for this year’s International Down Syndrome Day is “End The Stereotypes.” This theme is being promoted worldwide to fight against unfair beliefs about people with Down syndrome.
At Arkan property, our employees are joining the campaign by purchasing colorful socks painted by famous Georgian painters and young people with Down syndrome.
Funds raised through this campaign will help people with Down syndrome.
Since 2011, March 21st has been recognized as International Down Syndrome Day by the United Nations. This date is special because it represents the 21st chromosome, which is linked to Down syndrome.
We want to emphasize that people with Down syndrome are more than just their chromosomes. We believe in embracing diversity and treating everyone with respect and dignity.
