Arkan Property at the Georgia-Armenia Business Forum: Building Regional Partnerships for Sustainable Growth

Arkan Property was privileged to participate in the Georgia-Armenia Business Forum in Yerevan, a significant event that brought together high-level government officials and leading business figures from both countries. The forum reinforced the strong economic ties between Georgia and Armenia and highlighted the growing role of the private sector in deepening this partnership.

In his opening address, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili emphasized the long-standing friendship between Georgia and Armenia and the importance of economic cooperation alongside political relations. At Arkan Property, we share this vision and see real estate development as a vital area for joint investment and growth across the region.

Minister Davitashvili pointed out that Armenia consistently ranks among Georgia’s top ten trading partners, and that more than 600 Armenian-capital companies are now operating in Georgia, many in sectors closely aligned with ours—construction, development, and real estate services. This reflects a healthy, collaborative environment, where businesses like Arkan Property can forge meaningful cross-border partnerships.

A particular highlight of the forum was the acknowledgment of Lion Finance Group’s unprecedented investment in Armenia, which was celebrated as a milestone in strengthening financial and business ties between the two countries. As a Georgian real estate company focused on long-term, sustainable projects, Arkan Property sees great opportunity in this trend—one that we are eager to support through strategic investment and collaboration in Armenia’s growing urban landscape.

The forum also provided valuable insights into Georgia’s current economic performance, with the Minister noting a remarkable 9.4% growth in 2024 and continued strong results in early 2025. These indicators reinforce Georgia’s position as a regional investment hub, and Arkan Property is proud to contribute to this momentum through the development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties that meet international standards.

The Forum was attended by representatives of economic agencies and various business sectors from Georgia and Armenia. Among the participants from the Georgian side were Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Genadi Arveladze, President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Giorgi Pertaia, and Deputy Director of the Enterprise Georgia Agency Irakli Gabriadze, who introduced the Armenian business sector to the private sector support programs and mechanisms operating in Georgia.
