Batumi, a coastal city on the Black Sea in Georgia, has been honored with the title of “World’s Leading All-Season Destination 2024” at the 31st World Travel Awards held in Madeira, often referred to as the “tourism Oscars.”
The city competed against notable destinations like Melbourne, Oslo, Geneva, Munich, Aspen, Beijing, and Whistler to claim the esteemed accolade.
Kristine Dzidziguri, Deputy Head of the Adjara Tourism Department, highlighted that this recognition has played a significant role in boosting Batumi’s global visibility. It is helping to promote the city and enhance its reputation as a top travel and investment destination.
